Responsibilities:


  • Daily administration and management of the house
  • Daily room checks using room check guidelines
  • Daily house walkthrough including noting leaks or any other issues and report immediately to executive director
  • Make medications available to women 2x daily from locked medication cabinet
  • Act as an unbiased, kind, compassionate house manager to all residents
  • Have excellent boundaries
  • Keep all Crossroads' business confidential
  • Keep confidentiality of all residents
  • Work as part of the Crossroads' team in regards to caring for residents, property and the overall health of the Crossroads' organization
  • Maintain house in compliance with DHCS license. Must notify executive director immediately if there are any issues with house, repairs needed, broken items in house, and any issues with the outside of the property.
  • Support up to six residents when they are at the house.
  • Report immediately to executive director and program director any incidents with a resident or issues between residents.
  • Make sure a clean house is maintained.
  • Keep ALL food storage clean and promptly remove ALL expired items.
  • Be available for any emergencies and understand process for dealing with emergencies. Must also notify executive director and program director immediately once residents are safe.
  • You must also attend all meetings as required and all supervisor requested trainings.
  • Assist with the development of a warm and positive environment that promotes resident well

  • Communicate professionally and appropriately with staff and the public by observing confidentiality, staying focused on job tasks and demonstrating active listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member by communicating openly, cooperating with other staff, demonstrating positive attitudes and working together to solve problems
  • DRIVE CROSSROADS VAN TO TAKE WOMEN TO APPOINTMENTS, STORE (every other Saturday, pick up from evening groups, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under supervision by being open to feedback, reporting on activities as directed, staying within the job description and following through on suggestions.
  • All other duties as assigned by the program director related to running the Crossroads' program.
  • Knowledge of criminal justice system
  • Must maintain a good driving record
  • 23 years of management experience required, previous experience managing a 24hour facility is strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility with changes in tasks
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to work every night, on weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to pass background check and LiveScan
