    Description

    Infosys Lead Consultant with Java Experience

    Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, is looking for a Lead Consultant with Java experience to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the validation and quality engineering process throughout the testing lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include developing, designing, and deploying test frameworks and assets for complex modules, setting up test environments, contributing to requirements documentation, and designing tests for various purposes.

    Required Qualifications:
    • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply; sponsorship is not available at this time.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology and Infrastructure Quality Engineering.
    • Minimum of 8 years of IT and Infrastructure Quality Engineering experience.
    • Experience with Test Solutioning, Testing strategies, and executing tests for Infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of full SDLC lifecycle and Lean/Agile methodologies.
    • Must be located near Chicago, IL, or Richardson, TX, or willing to relocate to the area.
    • Experience may require travel within the US and Canada.


    Preferred Experience:
    • Confidence in recommending technical infrastructure test approaches.
    • Hands-on experience in Java, Spring & Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest API, Angular JS, React JS, and python.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, Windows PowerShell, and Linux Bash.
    • Building, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes.
    • Middleware applications knowledge like MuleSoft, MQ, and IBM WebSphere.
    • Identifying tools and technologies for implementation.
    • Deep understanding of industry-wide testing techniques and methodologies.
    • Effective stakeholder management skills and communication.
    • Desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

    The job includes working at a computer for extended periods and may involve travel. Communication skills are essential for telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
