    Infosys is seeking a Lead Consultant with Java experience

    In the role of Lead Consultant, you will act as a validation and quality engineering professional across the different stages of the testing lifecycle: you will develop, design and deploy test framework and assets of complex modules, help set up the test environment and contribute to the requirements documentation and test design for different types of testing. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs.     Required Qualifications :

    • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
    • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
    • At least 8 years of experience with Information Technology and Infrastructure Quality Engineering domain.
    • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
    • Experience with Test Solutioning, Testing strategies and Test Execution for Infrastructure
    • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
    • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
    Preferred Experience :
    • Confidence in challenging and recommending technical infrastructure test approaches and test strategies.
    • Hands on experience in Java, advanced Java, Spring & Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest API, Angular JS, React JS, python
    • Knowledge on scripting languages like JavaScript, Windows PowerShell, Linux Bash etc.
    • Hands on experience in building, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline and automating an end-to-end deployment process in the lower environments.
    • Knowledge on middleware applications like MuleSoft, MQ, IBM WebSphere
    • Identify tools and technologies to be implemented, aligning with that already used across the broader development function and in-line with the skill-set of the team
    • In-depth knowledge in current industry-wide testing techniques, tools, and methodologies
    • Stakeholder management skills including effective communication between the team and client - close collaboration with other roles and stakeholders.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
    The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
