Job Description:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Coordinate and assist with external audits
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and work with our outside firm to prepare tax returns
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred
2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
