    LHH is partnering with a growing technology company known for innovation and a vibrant company culture to hire a Senior Staff Accountant in San Diego, CA.     Responsibilities:

    • Maintain the general ledger by preparing journal entries and ledger reconciliations
    • Participate in monthly close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
    • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
    • Reconcile bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies
    • Prepare adjusting journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
    • Generate commission statements for sales team
    • Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
    • Assist with process improvement initiatives and updates to accounting policies
    • Undertake other ad hoc projects as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Minimum of five years of experience in general ledger accounting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
