- Center Monitoring:
- Maintain flexibility with respect to shift changes as needed to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Monitor facility operations, including medication distribution and housekeeping duties.
- Warm-up and distribute meals to shelter guests with care and compassion.
- Provide crisis prevention/intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
- Conduct regular hallway checks and document observations.
- Assist with transportation needs and distribute supplies accordingly.
- Coordinate emergency shelter plans and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Uphold privacy standards and observe guests with dignity and respect at all times.
- Service Coordination Support:
- Document client activities and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with minimal data entry tasks.
- Report emergency situations promptly to on-call staff.
- Collaborate with Service Coordinators to ensure client needs are addressed effectively.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Two years' experience in a social service-related field preferred.
- Ability to maintain appropriate behavior and personal boundaries.
- Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution.
- Medium: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 100% of the time
