    Job Summary:

    The OT Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining operational technology networks across Wabash. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of OT systems and networks used in industrial environments.

    You will participate in projects with low to moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Demonstrates a keen sense of independence and self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining an awareness of personal limitations. Recognizes and respects boundaries, seeking guidance and collaboration when necessary for optimal task execution and overall team success.

    Additionally, this position will be part of the Network Operations team in a dynamic environment where teamwork is the key.

    Job Responsibilities:

    · Design, configure, and deploy OT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT networks with IT systems while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.

    · Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security threats to OT networks.

    · Implement network segmentation and access controls to protect critical infrastructure and assets.

    · Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.

    · Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

    · Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to OT network engineering.

    · Provide technical support and training to OT personnel on network-related matters.

    · Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate, procure, and implement network solutions and services.

    · Participate in incident response activities and contribute to the resolution of cybersecurity incidents affecting OT environments.

    · Maintaining, upgrading, and installing the company's network including, switches, routers, Wireless, Firewalls and other technologies and interfaces.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Skills/Abilities/Leadership Requirements:

    · Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing OT networks in industrial environments.

    · Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, VLANs, and VPNs.

    · Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

    · Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

    · Proficiency in network troubleshooting and packet analysis using tools like Wireshark.

    · Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to OT environments, such as NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, and IEC 61850.

    · Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    · Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or GIAC GICSP are preferred.

    · Experience with wireless networks.

    · Palo Alto experience is a plus.

    · Experience with monitoring tools, especially SolarWinds

    Education and Experience

    · Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Technology, related major, or equivalent work experience.

    · Typically, a minimum of five or more years of experience engineering and implementing infrastructure solutions.
