    Description
    Summary:
    • Under general supervision, the Transportation Coordinator coordinates the use of program vehicles and schedules transportation routes to ensure the most efficient use of program resources.
    • Coordinates and documents all vehicle repairs and maintenance. Trains and supervises assigned drivers.
    • Ensures safety of vehicles; ensures appropriate safety equipment is stocked and up-to-date.
    • Drives company-owned vehicles to transport clients to various designated locations.
    Requires:
    • Work requires written and oral communication skills sufficient to coordinate transportation routes, schedules, vehicle maintenance and repairs, and to maintain various vehicle and transportation-related records and reports - acquired through completion of high school or vocational program.
    • At least 3 years of professional driving experience required; supervisory and/or administrative experience preferred.
    • Must possess valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record at time of appointment and continuously while in position. Must pass classroom and road test to be eligible to drive company-owned vehicles. Individuals with 4 or more points on their driving record will not be considered for employment; individuals with other adverse past driving history (i.e. suspension or DUI) may not be considered. ****Class C driver's license with Passenger endorsement may be required in certain locations****
