Yellow Shoes is the acclaimed in-house agency dedicated to crafting creative strategies and solutions for the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts segment. They aim at driving business results, enhancing the brand, and upholding the Disney reputation.

The key to their success lies in their profound understanding and close integration with each individual WDPR business. At the core of the internal agency operations is Project Management, which serves as the driving force that connects all agency functions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborating closely with Account Management, Creative, and Production, Project Management plays a vital role in achieving WDPR business goals and solidifying the reputation of the Yellow Shoes agency.

You will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Project Management.

What You Will Do

Develop detailed project schedules and ensure alignment among Account, Creative, and Production, keeping them informed about key project milestones. Update timelines as necessary and address any potential conflicts.
Oversee projects from start to finish, serving as the go-to person for progress updates, and make sure project statuses are updated in Workfront as milestones are achieved.
When creating timelines, take into consideration input from internal and external partners (such as Public Relations, Public Affairs, Customer Engagement, Pixar, etc.).
Conduct weekly status meetings with the core team to keep everyone informed about project progress and upcoming deliverables.
Proactively identify and address scheduling, resource, or other issues in advance, offering innovative solutions to tackle them.
Communicate timing implications of requested changes to all relevant partners.
Follow up with teams to ensure that revisions are implemented and shared with CDs and Creative VP before the next meeting.
Act as the bridge between Account, Creative, and Business Affairs to ensure that all work is reviewed at the appropriate stages.
Collaborate with Account Management to initiate projects in Workfront.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Solid understanding of communication mediums like video, print, digital, social, email, and OOH, including the production processes for each.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of projects and related tactics within the agency, overseeing details and timelines from project inception to completion.
Balanced approach of focusing on the big picture while being detail-oriented and ensuring timely delivery of expected outcomes.
Strong relationship-building skills with peers in Account, Creative, and Production, capable of influencing and leveraging these relationships to accomplish tasks effectively.
Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving, not merely sticking to established project timelines but demonstrating a sense of responsibility and promptness.
Thorough knowledge of the complete agency process and adaptability to explore project deliverables for overlap, efficiencies, and prioritization across various business areas.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, ad agency, project management, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the complete agency Project Management process.
Experience with Workfront and/or other project management tools.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
