Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics Field Services Assistant ProfessorExempt position salary commensurate with training & experience
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To conduct research both independently and collaboratively. Responsible for initiating, soliciting, and coordinating well-designed research projects that have potential for external funding.
May participate in activities to plan, direct, implement, coordinate and improve services and technical operations within the research activities of the organization.
To work with Scientific Directors and colleagues to maximize the function of the organization's scientists and clinician-scientists.To provide, communicate and implement strategic, operational and programmatic plans and policies to achieve the mission, vision and values of Cincinnati Children's.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Interpersonal Communication
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Diversity
Capable of relating to diverse age and demographic backgrounds.
Analytical Ability
Analytical ability required to evaluate data, and make judgments with regard to medical/surgical, and clinical research material.
Organization/Prioritization
Possess organization and prioritization abilities.
Methodology
Knowledge of research methodology, practice specialty, growth and development, family centered care, pathophysiology and/or pharmacology.
Professionalism
Organizational ability to work effectively within a highly matrixed and complex medical center. Possesses expert knowledge and experience of medical specialty.
Education & experience:
Required:
§ (PhD) or Medical Degree (MD/DO) or their equivalent in a related scientific or research field
§ Three years related experience in research field research, and/or laboratory environment and assisting with the preparation of data for presentation at scientific meetings.
§ Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility.
