Position Overview:
As the Head of Program Management, you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our product development programs in alignment with company goals and objectives.
You will work with cross-functional teams to drive program success, optimize resource allocation, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects from early-stage development through commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement program management strategies aligned with the company's overall portfolio objectives, therapeutic area priorities, and strategic roadmap.
- Lead the development of integrated program plans, timelines, and budgets, incorporating input from crossfunctional teams, including Research, Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure alignment of program activities with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across functional areas, ensuring alignment of priorities, resource allocation, and decisionmaking processes.
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Program Execution and Delivery:
- Oversee the execution of program plans, monitoring progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely and successful delivery of program objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues impacting program timelines, budgets, or quality, implementing corrective actions and escalation processes as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program management processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, functional heads, collaborators, and partners.
- Communicate program updates, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders through regular meetings, presentations, and written reports.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for programrelated inquiries, addressing concerns and providing timely and accurate information.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in program management and leadership roles within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of successful product development and commercialization.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate highperforming teams and drive results in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problemsolving, and decisionmaking abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and achieving business objectives.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
How to Apply:
Pay:
$200, $300,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
- PMP (preferred)
