    Entry Level Guest Service Representative

    Welcome guests, check people in and out for their stay, deal with guest queries, and provide prompt and professional knowledge to all guests.

    Entry Level Guest Service Representative Desired Skills and Abilities:

    • Communication Skills -
      • Listening, asking the right questions, understanding what the guest is asking and providing relevant information clearly and confidently.
    • Attention to Detail -
      • Able to ensure accuracy in all operations.
    • Customer Service Skills -
      • Strong customer service orientation including understanding and meeting the customer's needs while developing good guest relations.
    • Decision-Making Skills -
      • Able to gather all the necessary information to make a sound decision based on facts and available resources.
    • Adaptability and flexibility -
      • Able to quickly adjust approach and activity to meet new demands, diverse guests, changing circumstances, and new priorities

    Entry Level Guest Service Representative Requirements for Consideration:

    • Bachelor's Preferred
    • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
    • Recommend event management experience, preferably in a hospitality environment
    • strong working knowledge of relevant computer software including MS Office and booking and payment systems
    • numeracy skills
    • administrative skills

    Entry Level Guest Service Representative Responsibilities:

    • Welcome and greet guests
    • answer and direct guests
    • make and confirm guest reservations
    • ensure proper room allocation
    • register and check guests in
    • confirm relevant guest information
    • verify guest's payment method
    • verify and imprint credit cards for authorization
    • maintain clear and accurate records of guests
    • compute all reservation billings
    • listen and respond to guest queries and requests in-person
    • provide accurate information about the next steps
    • liaise with necessary staff on site
