    Description

    Position: Lead Estimator/Head of Business Development

    Location: Alabama (with frequent travel across multiple regions)

    Responsibilities:

    • Pursue work and maintain a client contact list
    • Provide budgets for prospective projects
    • Stay informed with current work in the industry
    • Provide budgets to customers for prospective work
    • Attend pre-bids and industry events (travel is part of the job)
    • Collaborate with team members to estimate projects

    Skills & Experience:

    • Engineering Degree (civil or mining).
    • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not required
    • 2+ years project management/field engineering
    • 5+ years estimating projects within the industry
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
