    Job DescriptionDescriptionAbout the Role:
    A Public Relations Assistant at Brand Avenue plays a pivotal role in supporting the public relations team in managing and enhancing the company's public image and reputation. This position involves assisting in the planning, execution, and evaluation of public relations campaigns, as well as maintaining relationships with media outlets, clients, and stakeholders.
    Key Responsibilities
    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of public relations strategies and campaigns to promote the company's brand and initiatives.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials to targeted media outlets.
    • Monitor media coverage and social media channels for mentions of the company and relevant industry topics.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
    • Assist in organizing and coordinating media events, press conferences, and interviews.
    • Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
    • Provide administrative support to the public relations team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and managing calendars.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with media monitoring tools.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
    • Previous experience in public relations, communications, or related field is a plus but not required.
