Education
Served as the Gift Planning Major Gifts strategy liaison for 4 regional markets before being asked by enterprise leadership to relocate in 2019 to assist with the development of an integrated territory fundraising model focused on audience and market opportunities in Northern CA. Coach and collaborate with 5 team members as a mentor and individual contributor to optimize charitable support and drive transformational donor work. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on gift planning vehicles such as trust, bequests, blended gifts and giving circles, and act as a thought-leader regarding strategies to improve fundraising via donor-centric programs enterprise-wide. Coached 10+ team members to date.
- Maintain a portfolio of 150 donors across the country and actively cultivate relationships with high-wealth donor prospects, families, and family foundations to secure planned gifts, multi-year commitments, naming opportunities, capital campaign, and one-time gifts aligned with St. Jude’s priorities and each donor’s values.
- Develop donor-centric, high-touch donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to maximize the donor’s potential to achieve the greatest impact.
- Partner with high-wealth donors, helping them execute a giving circle - to build organizational awareness, generate revenue, and acquire donor prospects with their social and professional networks.
- Partner with enterprise-wide colleagues and leadership on new initiatives; present to workgroups and divisions, and serve as a resource for donor development, donor engagement, and fundraising strategies.
