- To enable the division to maximize the use of technology to support decision-making and planning.
- Responsible for managing critical end-to-end user experience products.
- Build the next generation of PCB Products to include but not limited to a talent marketplace, job architecture, and work, workforce, and workplace of the future applications
- Utilize Design Thinking principles and UI/UX analytics tools to enhance staff experiences.
- Identify systems and tools to leverage technology adoption to drive a better employee experience.
- Analyzes operational processes and recommends process improvement strategies for based upon overall support impact.
- Monitor and report on the progress of HR projects and deadlines, ensuring they stay on track and within defined timeline.
- Collaborates closely with leaders within Vanderbilt University Information Technology (VUIT) to address and improve the division overall employee technology experience.
- Collaborate with VUIT to explain the detailed requirements and assist the developer to test.
- Maintains transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information through department meetings, one-on-ones, online correspondence, and regular interpersonal communications.
- Project management; process improvement
- Perform application walkthroughs, fit/gap analyses, workshops, business process analyses, specifications, test plans, trouble shooting, acceptance testing and training.
- Create Standard Operational Procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required
- A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Seven years as a software engineer, including leadership experience.
- Experience in human resources or related area in higher education.
- Expertise in application development life cycle, innovative development solutions, Agile project management and Design Thinking.
- Experience in designing immersive experiences using technology such as AR, VR, AI, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proven UX/UI experience in consumer-facing mobile apps.
- Strong knowledge of mobile standards (Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Android Material Design), trends, techniques, and practices.
- Working knowledge/hands-on experience with tools like Figma, InVision, Adobe XD, Sketch.
- Familiarity with business applications like Oracle Cloud HCM, Artificial Intelligence; implementation experience desirable.
