    Terran Orbital is seeking a motivated

    Sr. Product Applications Engineer

    to join our growing Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Product team. The Sr.

    Product Applications Engineer will work across different segments of the business including but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Systems Engineering, Guidance Navigation and Controls (GNC) Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, and Production.

    This position will have a full understanding of the Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) for each of the GNC sensor modules, understand the strengths and tradeoffs of the products within a sensor category, identify market demand for improved KPPs, and recommend sensor suites to internal and external customers.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities
    Work with internal and external customers to determine GNC sensor needs and provide recommended sensor suites
    Develop roadmaps for future product improvements based on current and predicted needs in the market
    Work with sales and marketing teams to develop and update product guides and information packets for external distribution
    Identify and develop new customer opportunities
    Support the analysis of module performance against mission requirements
    Work with Stakeholders to clearly define and evaluate module and sensor performance requirements for internal build programs
    Work with Integrated Product Teams to define module and sensor minimum performance requirements for commercial product lines
    Develop module interface documentation
    Perform all other duties as assigned
    This position is expected to require 25% travel

    Qualification and Skills
    B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent technical degree
    5+ years of experience with customer facing technical presentations where an understanding of Guidance Navigation and Control is required.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience listening to, defining, and solving customer problems.
    Ability to work on multiple highly complex projects and develop innovative solutions.
    Self-starter that is able to act independently, with review and guidance at the organizational level.
    Ability to work collaboratively and deliver to program timelines.

    Additional Differentiators
    MBA in addition to technical degree.
    Working knowledge of both mechanical systems and electrical PCB assemblies.
    Experience working in an Aerospace environment.
    Experience with aerospace or space requirements matrix, environmental testing such as vibration, shock and thermal cycle testing including TVAC.

    Salary Range $130,000-$160,000


    Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

    Physical Demands

    An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

    In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking.

    This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

    This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

    Work Environment

    The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
