As a Mid-Level Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting large organizations in the shipbuilding industry, ensuring effective utilization of resources such as money, materials, equipment, and personnel.
Your responsibilities will involve applying analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering to address diverse issues related to supporting top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, production facility and system design, supply chain management, pricing, transportation and distribution, as well as the analysis of large databases.
You will gather pertinent information and employ various analytical techniques, including simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytic hierarchy process.
By constructing mathematical models, you will evaluate and optimize different components and their relationships within the system, enabling scenario analysis and informed decision-making.

Contracting Support:
Provide expertise in DoD and DoN contracting practices to aid in the development of acquisition documents and strategies.
Flag Level Personnel:
Engage in effective communication with high-ranking officials to convey complex operational analyses and findings.
Acquisition Documents:
Assist in the development of critical DoN acquisition documents, such as Acquisition Strategy and Acquisition Program Baseline.
Preferred Skill Sets:
Expertise in shipbuilding processes and practices.
Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales and Military Sealift Command procedures.
