- Graphic Design
- Organization, generation, and distribution of various Digital Media and event assets
- MoonDance administrative tasks (scheduling, communications, media and marketing materials, etc.)
- Recording and editing content
- Scheduling and reach out to event partners and participants
- Work with the facilities team to coordinate online and in person events and workshops
- Help manage the set up, distribution, and tracking of equipment while programming remotely and in- person

- The Production Intern will be taught and responsible for navigating a variety of digital media software. Streamyard,Google Classroom, YouTube streaming, and Zoom are used for online classes and virtual events. Through mixing,mastering, and editing the intern will use the Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva and the Adobe Suite -PhotoShop, LightRoom, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

ABOUT US
A Place Called Home is a dynamic, non-profit youth and community center in South Central Los Angeles. APCH provides educational programs, counseling, mentoring, music, dance and art classes, fitness and health and wellness opportunities. As youth participate in our programs, they discover interests and talents and develop a better sense of themselves and their place in the world around them. The goal for the individual in this role is to support, guide and/or increase the likelihood that youth will stay in school, pursue higher education, attain viable jobs, and become active community members capable of making positive change in the world in which they live.
Internship Summary
The Digital Media Production Intern will be responsible for producing APCH's MoonDance Film Festival, film content for Digital Media and greater APCH events, workshops, and fundraisers, and the management of Digital Media administrative tasks. This is a
great opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to build skills and experience digital media production, live event
management, editing, graphic design, and arts education.
The Intern's primary focus will be the event production of the annual MoonDance Film Festival. The Festival is a celebration that occurs every summer that exhibits work produced by APCH youth members from Digital Media curriculum. The 2024 event will
have guest artist talk backs, partnership presentations, and original student works. Partnerships will include content
creators from animation, live action, television, and film studios. The Festival serves equally as a student content
showcase and a career pathways event to expose passionate young filmmakers to digital media careers.
As part of this project, the Digital Media Production Intern will be a point of contact for staff and members, as well
as provide support in the areas of:
workshops that feed into its diverse training curriculum. Under the guidance of the Digital Media Program Manager,

This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic and outgoing filmmaker with a passion for digital media production,
social justice, and arts education. Applicants should have knowledge of filmmaking with a dedication to delving
deeper and learning from a team of established film industry professionals. APCH Intern's work in a fast paced
environment and need a high degree of personal organization, self- motivation, and strong interest in working with
young people alongside a team of fun and positive artists.
Technical and Performance Skills
All new hires must provide proof of their first dose of the vaccine on the first day of employment, if not fully vaccinated, and will have 30 days from their date of hire to complete their COVID-19 vaccination and submit proof of completion to the organization's HR department. All fully vaccinated staff are highly recommended to get their booster vaccine once eligible.
