    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Landing Gear Technologies is an FAA Certified Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gears and components.     LGT is urgently hiring Final Inspectors for I & II Shift and weekends as necessary. If you are interested in this position please send your resume at and HR will set up a virtual interview with the team.

    ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:

    • Ensure the work was accomplished in accordance with the work scope requested by customer and manufacturer.
    • Verify all required technical data used.
    • Understands and has the ability to use basic measurement instruments, special tools, equipment, etc.
    • Performing Receiving inspection of components to determine airworthiness.
    • Visually inspecting aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data (CMM, OHM, Blueprint).
    • Dimensionally inspecting aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data (CMM, OHM, Blueprint).
    • Determine applicable repair processes in case rework is required for return to service.
    • Perform Post re-work inspection to verify completion of tasks.
    • Final inspection of parts to verify proper completion of all task in accordance with technical data.
    • Ensure all inspections are properly performed.
    • Ensure all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service.
    • Keep a clean and organized work area.
    • Other duties as required in support of the Inspection and Maintenance Operation.
    Requirements:
    • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
    • Good planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, mechanical in nature.
    • Must be able to operate and read precision instruments.
    • Ability to read and understand safety rules, procedure manuals, drawings and operating instructions.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
    • Ability to perform mathematics related to dimensional inspections.
