    Job DescriptionAre you a skilled multitasker with a knack for efficient office operations? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where communication is key? If so, we're looking for you to join the team as a DDO Administrative Assistant. This is an opportunity to showcase your talents and contribute to the smooth functioning of our office.As a DDO Administrative Assistant II, you'll be at the heart of our operations, utilizing your knowledge of office equipment and software applications to streamline processes.
    Who You'll Work WithA state government agency responsible for evaluating disability claims for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs in Texas. Through comprehensive assessments and reviews, it aims to ensure fair and accurate decisions regarding disability benefits eligibility.Major Duties
    • Handling inbound and outbound calls to assist claimants, medical providers, school districts, and SSA field office staff.
    • Reviewing, processing, and distributing documents received via mail or electronically.
    • Monitoring and maintaining office equipment for optimal performance.
    • Accurately inputting and modifying data in various software applications.
    • Preparing correspondence promptly and accurately.
    What We're Looking For
    • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong skills in using a variety of computer software applications, with preference given to experience in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
    Exciting Opportunity Details
    • Rate: $18.00 per hour
    • Length of engagement: Immediate start upon clearance of background checks, running until 8/30/204, with a strong possibility of extension pending approval.
    • Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
