- Effectively communicate with the Culinary Team to provide clear guidance, set expectations, offer feedback on performance, and provide necessary coaching
- Train and supervise the Culinary Team both on-site and in-house to maintain consistent high-quality food production, introduce new training methods for skill enhancement, and identify future growth opportunities
- Ensure adherence to culinary standards, recipes, and production processes, guaranteeing top-notch food quality both on-site and in-house
- Travel to regional events to offer training, support, and quality assurance for culinary teams
- Assist in leading the culinary team during Disaster Relief projects when required
- Stay updated on culinary and seasonal trends, service styles, and presentation techniques by actively seeking new knowledge
- A degree in Culinary Arts or a related certification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of culinary management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-outlet resort, restaurant, or food service setting with a proven track record of career advancement
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, labor, team performance, health regulations, and inspections
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and interpersonal aptitude
- Passion for the hospitality industry and culinary creativity
- Proficiency in standard technology, such as computers, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Willingness to travel locally, work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Thorough understanding of food sanitation regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
