Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona

Shift Times: Monday - Friday 11:00am-8:00pm

Responsibilities:

Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Installing, aligning, dismantling and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
Operating hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
Installing, troubleshooting and maintaining power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment.
Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment

Qualifications

Experience working safely in a heavy industrial setting
Must be comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and exposure to the elements
Proficient in welding
Able to conduct and complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklists
Able to complete work orders and ensure any parts that are used are documented for reordering
Eager to learn the proper operation and diagnostic capabilities of state-of-the-art equipment
Able to work independently and stay focused and on-task
Able to prioritize urgency based on production requirements
