    Job DescriptionSalary: $80,000

    Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements. This is a full-time remote role with occasional in-office meetings in Richmond, VA. This role will report directly to the CFO.

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:

    • Monthly review of all general ledger transactions and proper recording
    • Completing all monthly close procedures
    • Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
    • Assisting the CFO with monthly financial statement preparation and supporting schedules to ensure deadlines are met
    • Analyzing financial data monthly and reporting variances
    • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
    • Collaborating with other teams to support business goals and objectives
    • Working with the CFO to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit
    • Supporting CFO with special projects and workflow process improvements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in accounting, budgets, data analysis and financial reporting
    • Nonprofit and/or Healthcare experience required
    • Experience with Multiview is preferred
    • CPA certification is a plus
