    Mechanical Assembler - Hydraulic / Pneumatic

    Littell LLC.

    We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler, with Hydraulic / Pneumatic experience, to join our growing team of manufacturing professionals. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be joining a professional and experienced staff that will work with you to continue to make Littell LLC a great business and great place to work.

    Job Responsibilities

    The Mechanical Assembler – Hydraulic/Pneumatic will be responsible for building the pneumatic and hydraulic systems for whole machines and retrofits. The Assembler also builds other mechanical sub-assemblies as required, inspects parts, and assists in the troubleshooting / resolution of issues that may arise in the assembly or testing phases.

    Specific Responsibilities

    · Adhere to all safety policies.

    · Mount pneumatic and hydraulic components by drilling and tapping holes.

    · Connect components (filters, regulators, valves) per schematics.

    · Route, cut, and bend pneumatic / hydraulic rigid tubing.

    · Route, cut, and assemble pneumatic / hydraulic hoses.

    · Assemble mechanical components from drawings, including bearings, gears, and belt drives.

    · Use hand tools and power tools to layout, drill and tap holes for motors, sensors, and guards.

    · Frequent handling of precision parts and walking or standing for most of the day.

    · Use overhead crane to move parts and assembled equipment.

    · Inspect parts, as necessary, for assembly.

    · Assist in final testing.

    · Maintain proper job documentation.

    · Teardown and crate equipment for shipment.

    · Participate in Continuous Improvement.

    Job Qualifications

    · Previous experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic assemblies.

    · Ability to read and understand engineering prints.

    · Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

    · Ability to drive a forklift – not required but beneficial.

    · Experience operating a mill and/or lathe – not required but beneficial.

    · Knowledge of using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators – not required but beneficial

    · Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    · Basic Math Skills

    · Willingness to work 40-50 hours per week.

    · Strong communication and problem solving skills
