Description

We are an established manufacturer of industrial heat treating furnace fans located in Westmont, IL. We are seeking a mechanical assembler to become part of our team.


Responsibilities:

• Light welding
• Use of hand tools, power tools and air tools
• Ability to use overhead hoists to move equipment
• Able to read assembly prints and material list
• Follow a schedule and work accordingly to meet ship dates
• Use of hand trucks and pallet jacks
• Assembly and mounting of motors, sheaves, vbelts, bearings, shafts, fan wheels
• Able to follow instruction from supervisor and also work unsupervised
• Fabricate small brackets and guards as needed to fit
• Maintain all tools organized and in proper working condition
• Must be respectful of coworkers and able to work in group settings as well as individually
• Punctual and reliable

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with steel fabrication and welding
• Good communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation

Compensation:
Depending on experience
