    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    Seeking a full-time, in-house Accounts Receivable/Accounting Specialist. Experience in Sage 300, MS Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks preferred. Experience in construction accounting (completed contract accounting method) also preferred. Duties include: setting up job folders; billing change orders and T reviewing aging report and securing overdue payments; general ledger duties including balance sheets, monthly financial statements, income statements, job cost and other miscellaneous reports; preparing deposits; preparing and sending invoices; filing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns; monthly sales tax; workers comp reports and audits; occasionally assisting with payroll preparation; other accounting duties as may be assigned. We're looking for a dependable team-player with a positive attitude, good attention to detail, high-level organizational skills, ability to proactively stay on top of jobs and reach out to contractors as needed for payment. Trustworthiness is mandatory.

    Very competitive starting salary w/benefits, and room for advancement. Friendly and casual office. The Accounts Receivable/Accounting Specialist works directly with the office manager, project managers, sales director, and owner. (Position requires background, drug and credit checks.)
