    Description
    Addison Group is seeking an Accounting Manager consultant to assist the GL close process for a SaaS client in San Francisco. They will be in charge of full general ledger functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaids, cash, and monthly close, and may also assist with AP. The ideal candidate must have prior experience with Workday Financials. This is a consulting opportunity with perm conversion potential for the right long term fit.

    Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
  • Prepare forecast, monitor variances and review financial statements and journal entries
  • Improve internal controls through identification and development of accounting policies and business processes
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and policies and oversee accounting department operations
  • Manage and support month-end and year-end accounting and reconciliation process
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for accounts such as fixed assets, prepaids, cash, and balance sheets.
  • Track and analyze financial statements and ensure journal entry accuracy
    • Accounting Manager Job Specifications:
  • BS in Accounting/Finance required, CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with Workday Financials REQUIRED
  • Experience with NetSuite highly preferred
