    Job Description and Duties

We are seeking an individual well-versed in wastewater treatment engineering principles and hydrogeology, eager to collaborate with various businesses and local governments in the Central Valley.     • The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board is hiring a Water Resource Control Engineer in the Waste Discharge Requirements Permitting Unit at 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200, Rancho Cordova, California 95670

    Duties:

    Additional information:

    Applicants must demonstrate essential attributes such as integrity, initiative, dependability, sound judgment, teamwork skills, and the ability to fulfill assigned duties.

    If driving is necessary for the role, a valid driver's license is required. Do not provide full Social Security Number, eligibility method, or LEAP details in your application.

    Salary details – Appointment may be at the entrance rate based on CalHR salary regulations. Placement for classes with alternate ranges is determined by education and experience.

    Water Board staff may be entitled to benefits, including health coverage and leave programs for most full-time and some part-time employees.
