    PublicSource is seeking a business partnerships manager who will join our team.

    The role will lead the growth of our advertising and sponsorships and build relationships with organizations across the Southwestern PA region.


    The business partnerships manager will:
    Identify the next stages of growth for the business partnerships program.
    Design new advertisement and sponsorship offerings.
    Prospect, set appointments and conduct presentations for businesses and nonprofits who would benefit from working with PublicSource.
    Develop packages to help partners meet their goals.
    Coordinate with advertisers and sponsors on art/copy requirements and manage posting.
    Share digital ad results with partners.
    Contribute to event strategy as needed.
    Manage interns as needed.
    Strong relationship building and listening skills. You care about the needs of local organizations. You are energized by meeting new people every day and helping those people solve their challenges through digital media.
    Problem solving and creativity. You are excited to craft solutions that are tailored to the needs of local businesses.
    Respect for the need to balance revenue generation and ethical journalism.

    You understand the importance of being clear and transparent about advertising and partnerships and that we don't engage in "pay for play.

    You will be the expert on how technology serves advertising content on and will work on improving ad display and performance as needed.

    The salary range for the position is $50,000-$53,000 per year.
