    Business Development Manager


    About Your Opportunity:


    As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by developing prospects, nurturing leads, and securing new business opportunities.

    Your primary responsibility will be to sell our services in alignment with defined goals and objectives, while efficiently managing the sales functions to close deals effectively.


    How You'll Contribute:
    Develop and implement an annual sales plan for the target market, reporting on results and adjusting strategies as needed.
    Establish a systematic tracking method for contacts and essential prospects to meet sales and award goals.
    Lead marketing and branding efforts tailored to target clients and prospects, including the design and execution of marketing plans.
    Proactively initiate and cultivate new construction prospects, taking direct responsibility for the accounts developed.
    Schedule appointments and organize meetings with clients, design professionals, and Wohlsen Management/Executives, setting annual goals for engagement.
    Craft responses to Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals, showcasing our strengths and capabilities.
    Create, direct, and produce presentations for prospective client selection committees.

    Maintain and strengthen relationships with current and past clients through strategic planning and implementation, with a focus on reporting results.

    Represent Wohlsen Construction Company at trade conferences and establish a presence in relevant industry groups.
    Present and contribute to trade conferences and publications, staying updated on industry trends and news.
    Identify and develop new product groups and services, contributing to corporate marketing efforts.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
    8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Operations and/or Sales/Marketing within the construction industry.
    Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management technology.
    Ability to work independently following general policies, goals, and objectives.
    Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally to potential clients.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
    Valid driver's license required.
