Job Description
Position Purpose
This is a primary CHEP North America position tasked with designing and delivering CHEP NA digital transformation; partnering with Brambles Digital and using IoT, passive tracking, and digital tools to realize value inside NA.
This will be in the form of visibility and commercial knowledge improvements, cost structure optimization, and asset efficiency, as well as value for CHEP's customers.
Owner of the NA tracking software master data, establish quality controls, and complete journey resolution.Share best practices and learnings across other regions and influence the prioritization of enhancements to further the development of tracking solutions.
This far reaching role is part of the established center of Digital and IoT expertise within the CHEP NA businesses.

Major/Key Accountabilities
Lead digital transformation in NA through data quality and the utilization of a pool of autonomous tracking devices and serialized pallets
Deliver relevant data and insights to achieve incremental and enabled value
Lead a team of data quality management & analytics professionals to establish data quality controls, analyze data, achieve proper statistical significance, provide relevant insights in user-friendly visualization tools, and perform custom analytics for hypothesis testing and value extraction (scope of this team in future will include data from Serialization)
Develop systematic ways to improve data quality/accuracy and provide related feedback and requirements to global digital teams
Influence the prioritization and timely delivery of enhancements to further develop asset digitization software, tools, and infrastructure
Measures
Success will be measured two-fold: Quality/reliability of data generated from asset digitization and velocity of conversion of data into actionable insights
New insights gathered for business improvements as well as customer's supply chain illumination

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, or other process related field
Mix of Strategy, Learning, Innovation and Execution orientation
Strong communication skills in managing broad range of non-direct report employees
Seven years multi-functional experience in CHEP or MBA desired
Experience
8+ years' experience in leading teams in data management, modeling, visualization, and storytelling with data
8+ year's experience with autonomous tracking devices and software infrastructure
Proven track record in improving the fidelity of data from autonomous tracking devices
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to lead teams of data and analytics SMEs (subject-matter experts)
Strong leadership and people development skills
Ability to systematically problem-solve, prefer PMP, Six Sigma certifications
Knowledgeable in statistical techniques, coding, and data visualization tools
Keen interest in learning/be abreast with current asset digitization solutions
