    Job Description:

    Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in the Bayside, Maine area. This role involves working with students in grades K-8 for the school year. We are looking for passionate professionals ready to start immediately, with interviews available right away.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades K-8.
    • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings.
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
    • Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
    • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies accordingly.
    • Communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders about student progress and goals.
    • Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
    • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
    • Previous experience working with K-8 students preferred.
    • Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.
