    Description
    *A pre-employment credit check will be run on all qualified applicants.
    POSITION PURPOSEHave extensive knowledge of the commercial bank's loan and deposit processes, policies, and systems. Should understand the loan approval process from initial request through approval and booking. Should be equally familiar with deposit and treasury services. Will work efficiently with lenders, staff, attorneys, loan ops and booking to meet customer timelines.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESResponsible for identifying and coordinating the approval process for new and renewed loans.

    The objective is to meet the expiration date of the existing loan or the closing date established by the lender and borrower.

    Participate in preparation of loan approval forms by working with credit analysts and lenders in the completion and presentation of the LAW.

    Maintain a good understanding of loan policies, pricing guidelines, collateral requirements, risk ratings, etc.

    Demonstrate ability to work effectively in the understanding of the elements of entity documents, security agreements, financing statements, guarantees, loan agreements, promissory notes, etc.

    Understand financial reporting including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, preparation of global cash flow statements and financial covenants.

    Work positively and respectfully with co-workers and customersMaintain high ethical and professional standards dealing with bank customers, resources, policies and reputation; being an example to their colleagues.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    This role has no supervisory responsibilities

    QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent related bank experience

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    3-5 years applicable commercial banking experience

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    Excellent written and oral communications skills.
