    Description

    Position Overview:
    Aria is a supportive housing community comprised of 56 units, in Los Angeles, CA.

    The Community Manager is responsible, under the supervision of the Regional Manager, for all operations at the community, including, but not limited to, general administration, maintenance, directing on-site personnel, and managing resources to ensure a stabilized fiscal operation.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Oversee all on-site personnelComplete reports related to the status of the community.
    Maintain accurate resident files, in compliance with company policy and funding agency requirements.
    Process applicants for vacancies, in an effort to maintain 100% occupancy rate.

    Oversee the maintenance of the community, including unit inspections and adhering to the preventive maintenance schedule,Collect all rents and address delinquencies, if any.


    Required Qualifications:

    • 5 years property management experience.
    Experience in working with and supervising personnel.
    Working knowledge of compliance as related to the Low Income Housing Credit program and Fair Housing.
    General knowledge of fair housingSection 8 ExperienceExperience with managing periodic inspections (such as HUD, TCAC and City inspections).Tax Credit ExperienceYardiExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the general computer skillsDetail-orientedReliable transportationValid California driver's licenseProof of auto insurance

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bilingual fluency in Spanish and EnglishYardi program experienceGeneral knowledge of fair housing, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulationsCertified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 onlyTax Credit ExperienceSpecialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)- Section 42 onlyRegistered Apartment Manager ( RAM)
