- Strategy & Execution: Work with marketing & GTM leadership to develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Campaign Management: Design, launch, and manage targeted marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, email, social media, events) to generate leads and accelerate the sales pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with across the organization, including sales, product, and leadership, to align growth initiatives with overall business objectives and leverage synergies across departments and functions.
- Brand Advocacy: Be a champion of the 5x5 brand, ensuring consistency and innovation in all marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
- Product Marketing: Gain a deep understanding of our audience, develop our positioning and messaging, and communicate the product benefits and value to our audience.
- Content Marketing: Collaborate with product and sales teams to create compelling messaging, content, and collateral that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement.
- Analytics and Optimization: Utilize analytics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensure we are operating efficiently, and meeting metrics goals.
- 7+ years of experience in the trenches of B2B marketing, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Breadth in all areas of growth marketing, with deep expertise in demand gen, website management & conversion rate optimization, and marketing ops and analytics.
- Be extremely data driven and an expert at defining, setting, and reporting on full-funnel KPIs.
- Experimentation mindset. You understand the importance of testing and scaling what works, and can prioritize tests and find ways to get them out quickly.
- Experience in managing agencies and external marketing partners.
- Proficiency in full-stack of marketing tools: You know what tools to use and how to use them—or you can figure it out quickly. (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, 6Sense, etc.)
- Candidates with experience in navigating startup challenges and proven track record of helping scale startups strongly preferred.

Unlike traditional data aggregators and brokers, the co-op is a sustainable and trusted source for platforms and service providers faced with rising data licensing costs and diminishing quality. The 5×5 Co-op is formed by hundreds of contributing members whose exhaust signals are the basis for verified data assets. This means the cooperative acts as the processing hub to turn these exhaust products into data that strengthens member's platforms.
About the job:
5x5 is experiencing rapid growth and looking to expand our team with the addition of a high-energy, innovative Senior Manager of Marketing. As a Senior Marketing Manager with a focus on Demand Generation and Growth, you will be the primary driver of our marketing engine. You will design, implement, and optimize campaigns that attract and convert leads, drive sales, and increase brand visibility. The ideal candidate is a 'doer' with a ferocious appetite for success who can think strategically and act tactically, loves a challenge, and is passionate about the details.
This is a hybrid position that will work out of our Westwood, MA office three days a week.
