Client / Application Consultant for a Windows Migration (m/f/d)

For one of my clients in the automotive industry, we are looking for a Client & Application Consultant (m/f/d). The project involves migrating over 500 client systems from Windows 8 to Windows 10 in a specific production area.

General information about the assignment:

Start:

Duration: 12 months (option for extension or permanent position)

Workload: Full-time - 40 hours/week
Location: Friedrichshafen (100% on-site)

Tasks / Requirements:

Migration from Win8 to Win10, experience with around 500 client systems
Communication with end users regarding application information
Installation of old software on a new device
Testing compatibility of software (compatibility mode, ACT or virtualization)
Replacement of old device with new system
Testing new system with end user
Removal of old system
German proficiency at least C1/C2

In addition to good communication skills, experience with manual migration in a Windows client environment is required. Experience in a production environment, particularly with measurement systems and
