- Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of the general ledger and business operations, efficiently and accurately review, route for approval, code, and process vendor invoices.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in matching purchase orders to invoices promptly and effectively.
- Address vendor inquiries, conduct thorough research and resolution of issues or discrepancies.
- Regularly review and take necessary follow-up actions for items on the RNI report.
- Execute weekly check runs and wire payment requests, maximizing vendor payment discounts.
- Conduct reconciliation of vendor account statements to maintain current and favorable balances.
- Provide assistance to fellow Accounts Payable team members as required.
- Facilitate the setup of new vendors, ensuring all requisite documentation (W-9, Certificate of Insurance, Vendor Form, etc.) is obtained.
- Maintain up-to-date records of vendor W-9s and Certificates of Insurance. Participate in the annual processing of 1099s.
- Assist with month-end accounting close activities and engage in special projects as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year accounting associate degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years general accounting experience with 1+ year high-volume accounts payable experience
- Prior experience in a multi-entity business preferred

Addison Group is excited to collaborate with a prominent manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of the GL and possess extensive experience in a purchase order AP environment. Key responsibilities for this role encompass processing, identifying, researching, and resolving any PO discrepancies, among other duties. This position offers an onsite opportunity with compensation up to $31.25/hr, contingent upon relevant experience.
