    About the Role

    We are seeking Senior Territory Managers for Neo-OT's longDNATM Platform and cell engineering capabilities. The candidates will have extensive business acumen and a strong history of developing and managing high value account relationships in the synthetic biology and cell engineering space. The Senior Territory Manager is responsible for building revenue and driving growth of the genome writing portfolio.

    The Senior Territory Manager reports directly to the VP Commercial Operations.

    What You Will Do
    • Aggressively source, qualify, and close complex deals in the pharma/biotech space, owning and managing the funnel from end to end
    • Develop and execute the sales strategy and tactics for driving the growth of the longDNATM Platform product portfolio
    • Maintain accurate sales funnel metrics and revenue forecasts throughout the fiscal year, enabling the executive team to monitor business performance and drive decision making
    • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and commercial strategies
    • Identify unmet customer needs and provide customer feedback to enable the development of new and innovative products
    • Work with teams within and across the organization to sell the full Neochromosome and Opentrons product line to existing accounts.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.
    What We Are Looking For

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Proven track record delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis consistently
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience selling synbio-focused products
    • Demonstrated technical knowledge of syn bio applications, including synthetic DNA and genetically engineered cell lines
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Functional excellence in managing a highly technical portfolio
    • Demonstrated drive, determination and self-motivation resulting in consistent achievement of financial results.
    • Extensive network of technical and commercial leaders in the biotech space
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
    • Positive external and internal relationship management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work with technical teams to "build and fly the plane" simultaneously
    • Ability motivate and coach direct reports for continued growth
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a start-up/ change-oriented environment.
    • Proven as a strategic thinker, backed up by a track record of tactical execution.
    • Application and experience in the use of CRMs (e.g. )
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Ability to execute and thrive in a dynamic startup environment
    Working Conditions and Physical Effort
    • This role will be remote and require up to 20% travel including domestic and international
    Compensation Range:

    The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $195,000/year (base), plus commission; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including equity and a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
