    Bison Innovative Products, a division of RPM International (NYSE: RPM), is in search of a full-time Territory Manager with strong experience and motivation in the Boston area. The perfect Bison Sales Representative will possess a background in construction, architecture, or engineering, with specialized knowledge in roofing, green roofing, deck construction, landscape architecture, and/or architecture being advantageous. Our sales strategy involves delivering professional training presentations to architects, contractors, designers, and others, so comfort in conveying technical information to small groups is vital.

    Since 1994, Bison has been a pioneer in designing and manufacturing Pedestals and hardwood Deck Tiles that enhance rooftop spaces.     Candidates will be offered an Open-ended compensation plan with a monthly draw against commissions.

    Compensation package:

    • Draw against (starting at $60k) + Uncapped commission.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Become an expert in Bison's product lines and applications and advocate for Bison's products.
    • Act as the main contact for all sales, projects, and training activities within your designated territory.
    • Monitor all leads, quotes, and information in Salesforce and provide regular, written sales reports to the National Sales Manager.
    • Offer assistance to other team members when necessary to ensure exceptional service to all of Bison's existing and potential customers.
    • Operate in accordance with Bison's established policies and procedures to meet or exceed goals, targets, and objectives (GTO).
    • Travel extensively within the territory to promote Bison's products and engage with existing and potential customers.
    • Conduct training sessions for architectural and specifier communities, distributors, Bison's sales representatives, qualified contractors, and provide on-the-job training for installing contractors as needed.
    • Provide information, both written and verbal, about competitors' product lines, pricing, and marketing strategies.
    • Represent Bison at conventions and trade shows.
    • Offer insights and recommendations for Bison's marketing and promotional programs.
    • Keep track of industry trends and customer feedback, and provide suggestions for enhancements to Bison's product lines.
    • Follow up on all leads generated by Bison's advertising and promotions, striving to convert leads into sales.
    • Attend all mandatory sales meetings and training sessions as directed by the National Sales Manager.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience
    • General experience in Construction
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50%) within the territory on a weekly basis
    • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling interruptions efficiently
    • Proficient in formal business communications
