    Description

    Software Engineer IV

    Location: Greenwood Village, CO (3 days onsite/2days remote)

    Contract Duration: 3-6-month contract to hire

    Pay: $60-$70/hr

    Overview: Our client is looking to bring on a Software Engineer IV to support their Networking and Management Application. This application tracks all of their networking equipment and is utilized by the Field Services technicians. This application will eventually be launched as a mobile-android app using React Native.

    Skill Set

    • 5+ years of experience as a full stack Software Engineer
    • Strong experience working with and React Native
    • Experience coding, testing and designing software
    • Experience coding on the backend (ideally , but open to other technologies)
    • Database management experience with MongoDB

    Responsibilities

    • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
    • Design and implement new functionality that is testable and performant with limited oversight and guidance following best practices and approved code patterns.
    • Operate within the various elements of applicable technical systems and the impacts of their work on the organization's outcomes.
    • Understand and apply different SDLC processes, particularly Agile and Scrum; participates fully in Scrum rituals.
    • Understand and apply applicable technology security and industry regulatory and legal compliance considerations.
    • Identify fixes to defects raised.
    • Identify system integration issues.
    • Lead code review, debugging, and testing of software applications.
    • Provide an LOE on a project / feature level.
    • Develop software independently and write testable and performant code.
    • Develop technical requirements and technical design documents.
    • Support major deployments and resolve critical deployment issues.
    • Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve technical problems.
    • Respond to customer inquiries around the behavior of the developed software.
    • Mentor Software Developer I and Software Developer IIs.

    Team overview: The team currently has 3 software engineers, but is growing to about 10 engineers

    Interview Process: One 30-minute interview with the hiring manager and a second panel interview with a few engineers on the team.
