Job DescriptionBusiness Development Representative
The Business Development Representative is responsible for the full sales cycle, from generating leads to client engagement to closing the deal. They are adept at navigating through a conversation flow to uncover client wants and needs, understanding pain points and positioning the company as the compelling solution.
Passion and a desire to partner with clients to provide talent solutions is paramount to the success of this role. The Business Development Representative will report to the VP of Business Development.
Responsibilities
• Research and develop a pipeline of qualified leads via phone, email, D2D, in-person meetings and other methods; this includes a combination of heavy cold-calling, emailing, networking online/in-person and other activities to close new business
• Schedule appointments and meet with prospects to understand their business operations, requirements, challenges and needs and provide staffing solutions that add value to their organization
• Follow-up with and engage current clients to help ensure repeat business and client referrals
• Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell other lines of business
• Keep abreast of market and industry trends through attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state of-the art practices and participating in professional organizations
• Provide customer and market feedback to team members and management to influence business direction
• Assist in revenue generation through the development and management of strategic partnerships
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or related sales and business experience
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a history of success in closing deals; staffing industry experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
• History of setting and achieving measurable goals
• Ability to build trust through client and candidate relationships
• Energetic, highly motivated individual that can drive growth within our organization
