    Description

    Overview

    Responsible for monitoring and operating the organizations Citrix environment, networks, and applications. This includes installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining the environment.

    Responsibilities

    Collaborate with internal staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

    Excellent problem resolution approaches and critical thinking skills.

    Experience in scripting.

    24x7 On-Call rotation.

    Plans, designs, and implements solutions for Citrix, VMware and other Windows based networked systems, including configurations; supporting/troubleshooting problems; coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as Servers, Operating systems, application; project implementation; providing training and assisting with project writing.

    Build new servers, including hardware installed in the data center, and install OS and software.

    Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and Operating systems. Including but not limited to Active Directory and domain controller configuration and maintenance.

    Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop system.

    Taking part in upgrading and updating the systems applications, installing it with up-to-date descriptions.

    Should strengthen the apps, the Windows server, and the principal operating system.

    Taking full control and accountability for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

    Required Skills

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

    B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is highly recommended.

    4+ years of experience operating a companys internal data communications system, specifically the Citrix system.

    Solid network administration skills.

    A strong understanding of Active Directory and identity management systems.

    PowerShell scripting.

    The ability to work flexibly, independently, as well as in a team.

    VMWare vcenter, Data Loss Prevention.

    Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.

    Fluent in Microsoft T-SQL or similar query language
