- Manage and supervise all accounting functions within the plant, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with plant management to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives to optimize plant performance and profitability.
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
