Your tasks

Until the completion of a final repository for nuclear waste in Germany, parts of this waste will be stored in appropriately secured interim storage facilities in close proximity to nuclear power plants. In order to ensure that these storage facilities can be operated fully autonomously even after the shutdown and dismantling of the nuclear power plants, new operating buildings and new plant infrastructure must be built. This requires the central coordination of numerous complex construction projects.

Coordination of all autonomy projects at multiple locations
Management of internal and external project managers and implementation of a control structure
Accompaniment of internal and external committees, enforcement of agreed corporate interests
Representation of an interface function to the client, ensuring the transfer of know-how between individual projects
Documentation and reporting on project progress in committees, preparation of decision templates
Negotiation and handling of property transfers of land

Your profile

Completed degree in a technical or business field
Several years of experience in managing complex projects in the nuclear environment
Confident handling of experts, authorities and external partners
Ideally, experience in nuclear regulations and corresponding supervision and approval procedures
Very good project management skills, preferably confirmed by relevant certification
Very good German and English
