MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.

  • Proposing and constructing solutions for the company and the customers.
  • Plans, executes, analyses, reports, interacts with customer, meets deadlines, and controls costs on inspection and testing
services within projections with some supervision.

  • Communicates inspection and testing project planning, test procedures requirements, and results to customers through oral
and written reports that may incorporate different technology areas.

  • Participates in quality activities including documentation, archive, backup and other administration activities as required.
  • Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
  • Will be involved in Training for Certification, Topical Training and Onthejob training to technical personnel including
other Technicians.

  • Administer project time, managing personnel, and achieving technically successful projects within the budget allocated.
  • Display effective and assertive customer relations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments which requires occasional out of
town and overnight travel.

  • Must be able to communicate with clients, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
  • Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
  • Proven ability to adapt to an everchanging schedule.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

Working Conditions:

  • Field duties require outdoor work in a plant environment.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
