    About the Role:
    The Director of Quality Engineering is a pivotal role within our organization.

    Success in this role hinges on the individual's ability to lead, define, and implement a comprehensive quality engineering strategy that ensures the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.

    The Director of Quality Engineering will play a vital role in shaping and improving our software development processes, enhancing product quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    Role will be located in Tampa, FL. Remote opportunities are not available at this time.

    In this role you will:

    Own:


    The overall quality engineering strategy, aligning it with our business goals and ensuring its execution across all product development teams.

    The establishment and maintenance of quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices to achieve consistent, high-quality software.


    Define:


    Quality engineering processes, standards, and guidelines that will enable teams to meet their quality objectives and deliver bug-free, reliable software.

    Metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product quality and the effectiveness of quality engineering efforts.


    Develop:
    A highly skilled and motivated quality engineering team by providing leadership, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.

    Automated testing frameworks, tools, and strategies to optimize and streamline the testing process.

    A culture of quality, where all team members understand the importance of quality assurance and actively contribute to it.


    Deliver:
    On-time and high-quality releases by collaborating with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams.

    Actionable reports and insights to drive informed decision-making regarding product quality.


    Communicate:
    Effectively with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed about the quality status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

    Collaboratively with development teams to promote a culture of quality as an integral part of our software development process.

    We are looking for someone who has:


    Proven experience in a leadership role in quality engineering, with a track record of successfully implementing quality strategies and processes.
