- Weekly create and release transfer orders from production/packaging locations to stocking locations.
- Work with product managers and supply specialists to actively manage stocking levels at each location for transferred products.
- Monitor and optimize intracompany freight spend.
- Regularly monitor new customer shipping warehouse defaults to ensure that inventory is stocked in the closest warehouse for customer satisfaction.
- Work with sales and customer care to ensure new/non-traditional orders are filled per customers' requests.
- Daily work with customer care and the shipping warehouses to allocate available inventory to fill back orders as efficiently as possible.
- Actively participate in the new product introduction process to align inventory with demand and space constraints within the warehouses.
- Monthly report on order fill rates.
- Operate in conformance with the requirements of the Alliant Power quality management system.
- Assist other employees both in and out of the department.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Provide feedback on system needs/changes.

Key Departmental Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience in a distribution, warehousing, or logistics environment or. Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees. Excellent communication skills. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint and demonstrated proficiency learning/operating within an ERP. Within the first 90 days, must be proficient within our systems.
