    Lear is looking for a SW team Leader, for leading SW development team during project development for Electrification Product Line.


    Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

    • Plan and control the software development tasks of a project
    • Communication with customer, acting as SW engineering point of interface for the project team.
    • Define SW development and test strategies
    • Report on SW development project status
    • Manage the global software resources of the project
    • Monitor that the defined quality standards are followed in a project
    • Act as the communication interface with external SW team groups (customer, HW team, System team, EPL, manufacturing, SW suppliers, etc)
    • Prepare and lead SW Development project tracking meetings
    • Lead & supervise risk management activities
    • Coordinate & supervise Configuration Management activities related to SW
    • Lead Change Management Control, technical discussions, change approvals, and validation / introduction plans.
    • Ensure that all technical project deliverables are executed in accordance with Lear and Customer procedures, policies, best practices, and requirements.

    To be a success in this role you must have:

    • Engineering degree in (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, )
    • Knowledge of Standard C design & Coding Rules
    • Knowledge of the Requirements management tools used in the organization & project (i.e. DOORS)
    • Knowledge of the Functional Safety procedures ISO-26262
    • Knowledge in the basics of any electrification product
    • Experience working in SW development fulfilling ASPICE. AGILE know-how is a plus.
    • Fluent in English & Good communication skills
    • Structured problem-solving skills
    • Passion for SW and teamwork
    • Determined. Able to take quick and robust decisions
    • Able to work in many things in paralell
    • Organized, disciplinated and highly motivated

    Language Skills:

    • Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French.
