Job DescriptionGeneral Summary: A exempt position responsible for assisting department with daily coordination of medical educational activities.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Administration of the student/fellowship training program and accreditation. Prepare for accreditation, reviews and site visits. Coordinate orientations, for students/fellows and faculty. Compile and submit reports to required committees, boards and organizations. Assists in preparation of contracts. Filter and answer inquires from present and past trainees.
2. Recruitment and interviews. Develops recruitment plans, screens applicants, coordinates correspondence from candidates, and schedules interviews. Daily demonstration of initiative and problem solving skills in applying detailed knowledge of medical education programs.
3. Financial management of program. Through department director, submits requests for business-related purchases, manage budget accounts for program, secure best pricing through external vendors, reconcile ledgers/statements, and expenditures of money.
4. Coordinates departmental student functions. Maintains schedules of student activities, rotation assignments, learning sessions, tracks and reports student's grades. Creates appointments, meetings, lunches and conferences.
5. Administration of student examinations. Proctors student examinations, orders examination materials, and process materials.
6. Compile all student/fellow training verification request forms for program director approval and assist in letters of recommendations for current and past trainees.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree with business or educational related degree or minimum of five (5) years related experience required.
Other Requirements: The employee is expected to protect the privacy/confidentiality of all student/fellows information in accordance with Wright State Physicians privacy policies, procedures and practices as required by Federal (and State) law and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a health care provider.
